Alexander (Alex) Morris is Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of F/m Investments, an $18 billion asset manager, where he leads strategy, product development, and distribution for a diversified platform of ETFs and separate account strategies. Under his leadership F/m has expanded rapidly into the ETF marketplace, driving innovation starting with building the US Benchmark Series of Treasury ETFs, launching multiple market-first products designed to provide simple, liquid access to solutions designed to solve problems facing all investors, from institutions, to financial advisors, and retail investors. This includes overseeing the rollout of high-impact products — including TBIL, which has become one of the largest ultrashort Treasury ETFs, and RBIL, the industry’s first ETF dedicated to ultrashort TIPS exposure, and most recently the Compoundr Series led by CPAG and CPHY, providing re-investment and tax location in ETFs. He has also driven efforts to add new share-class structures and operational efficiencies intended to widen investor access and reduce friction for advisors. Before founding F/m’s predecessor firm, Rowhouse Capital Partners, Alex led capital markets and corporate development at Fortigent and helped create Vestmark Advisory Solutions — a platform that enabled thousands of advisors and large AUA to adopt institutional asset management services. He began his career in London in alternative investments and holds a B.S. in Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering from Cornell University. Alex appears in industry media including CNBC, Bloomberg, Yahoo!, Ignites, the Financial Times and Wall Street Journal, and is a regular presenter to industry conferences to discuss ETF structure, fixed income market design, and product innovation.
