As a registered attendee or participant (“you”) in Exchange (the “Event”), you agree to these terms and conditions (collectively, the “Agreement”) with Exchange LLC. If you are completing the registration on behalf of another individual, you warrant that you have made the attendee or participant aware of this Agreement and that he or she has accepted these terms and conditions.
Our cancellation policy is simple: You can cancel your registration up to 30 days before the conference and we’ll give you a full refund, no questions asked. Here are the legal specifics: You can cancel your registration online via the event registration confirmation page or in writing via email to [email protected] by January 14, 2024. Cancellations after January 14, 2024 are nonrefundable.
We all know things can change at a moment’s notice. Exchange reserves the right to change any and all aspects of the Event, including but not limited to, themes, content, program, speakers, moderators, venue and times. This does not entitle you to a refund inside of 30 days.
Force majeure is a fancy phrase that means “act of God.” In this case, the “force majeure” clause means that, if there is a natural disaster (fire, flood, hurricane, war, pandemic, etc.), and we have to cancel the event, we will refund your registration fee, but we aren’t liable for your other costs (travel, etc.).
Cameras are everywhere today. By attending the conference, you grant Exchange the right to record, film, photograph and/or capture your likeness. We reserve the right to distribute, broadcast, use or otherwise share those images, without any approval from or any payment to you.
Our lawyers make us put this in:
To the fullest extent permitted by the applicable law, Exchange excludes: (a) all liability for loss, injury or damage to persons or property at the Event; (b) all indemnities, warranties, representations (whether express or implied); and (c) any actual or alleged indirect loss or consequential loss, any loss of profits, anticipated profits, savings, loss of business revenue, loss of business, loss of opportunity, loss of goodwill, or any other type of economic loss, suffered by you howsoever arising. If Exchange is liable to you for any reason, Exchange’s total liability to you in relation to the Event (whether under these terms or conditions or otherwise) is limited to the amount of your fees received by Exchange.

“Don’t Be a Jerk” Clause: Exchange reserves the right to remove or deny admission to anyone at any time for any reason.
Also, attendees are required to wear their badges at all times. Our security guards will deny you entry if you don’t have your badge. They’ll do it nicely, but they will be firm. No exceptions.
